    DirectFB - what for?

    Is it "Wayland for desktop and DirectFB for embedded devices?"

    Or is it a direct competition for the X Server successor?

      Good question, if it's a complete XServer successor like wayland, why did Wayland get such traction and not these guys, I can see code as old as 7 years.
