Hopefully the Distro Makers who consider their project to be Front-Line, will add this to their core, asap.

The time is now to have proper tablet ability, else the game will be lost to Android who threaten to claim the Linux scene, especially if Google releases a desktop version, which would be their ultimate chess move to take over. Linux has always been a thorn in the sides of corporations that want to place a price on every action on the internet. Google is the cavalry for this.

but it's time for the game of seeing how long it takes AMD to properly support the latest release of the upstream X.Org Server...
      oh, they already do.

Wait, you meant using catalyst? Why didn't you say so?

Obviously I meant with all the lights switched on. No one would add a feature that crashes all in sundry but they would also endeavour to prioritise something with such importance.

So, what else needs to happen before I can use this to enable the "browser.gesture.pinch" pref's in Firefox and have it work? Does this require GTK level support, and/or Firefox building against the new API?

              AMD continues to disappoint

but it's time for the game of seeing how long it takes AMD to properly support the latest release of the upstream X.Org Server...
It is so annoying that AMD time after time is continuing to disppoint and lag behind with Xorg support in their Catalyst driver.
This is holding back Linux because distributions wont ship with the latest Xorg before it is supported by both AMD and Nvidia.

This is why I don't buy from AMD.
