Michael Larabel released the "Linux 3.3-rc5 Kernel Is Pretty Boring" article this weekend. Overall, Michael said, according to Linus Torvalds, "it's been pretty boring, which is just how I like it."

Michael would have liked this sixth article of the weekend to be even more boring than it was, but overall he thinks these weekend articles turned out well. There's updates about recent XFS file-system changes, the state of NVIDIA's VDPAU, another Wine 1.4 RC, a declaration by an AMD engineer that Catalyst will support KWin, and "various noise elsewhere."

The release announcement for this article can be read on PHORONIX.com.

(Nota Buena: This article is tongue-in-cheek. Luv u, Michael )

Is someone a bit bored today?

Hurray for quiet/boring RC's after RC1. I'd be worried if RC5 had major disruptive changes in it.
