Update on the Wow thing
So, funny story. I was tricked into testing again, but this time, I didn't use the mesa bundled with Arch, yet an unofficial repository with mesa-git. Wow runs with 30FPS on Ultra quality on an HD6770. Apparently the bug is in Arch packages, not mesa itself.
Thanks for the push, guys!

Heroes of Newerth
You could also do some Heroes oh Newerth Benchmarks!
Im still not sure if i should buy a AMD E-450 Laptop, cause i dont know if this game would run on such a device.
Heroes of Newerth is free to play and has a native Linux Client! (also a Windows and MacOS 10 Client)

Since wine is doing better with every release, and games start working more and more (Skyrim, Crysis 2, Dragonage 2, albeit using blobs), we should see how Mesa handles windows games.

However, I did try WoW starter edition under Windows, and it was barely playable, 30 FPS with lowest quality settings. I believe you could expect similar frame-rate with HoN under Linux with the proprietary drivers, but with mesa it would most likely be completely unplayable.
If you want I can give it a try when I get home tonight and give you the exact numbers.
