    Phoronix: KDE 4.0 Release Candidate 2

    KDE 4.0 Release Candidate 2 is now available and is the last stop before the release of KDE 4.0 final on January 11, 2008. This release includes fixing the outstanding major and minor bugs, completing the artwork, and smoothening out the user experience.

      Here you go. But keep in mind that these LiveCDs are known not to be as stable and fast as the real, installed KDE 4.

          Brilliant!

          I tested the OpenSUSE LiveCD with KDE 4 RC2 earlier today. Works like a charm on my 2:nd machine, an old Pentium 3 (700MHz), 512MB RAM, with an ATI Radeon 9200SE (128MB)!

          Impressive!!!

          I am really waiting for the January 11th release!

            lol, completly forgot about this thread. I tried the kubuntu live cd and funny thing is it worked better on my cheapo laptop than on my desktop. laptop: 512mb ram, integrated video. Desktop: 4GB ram, nvidia 8800gts video.
