              there has been some work on the HiZ, but the bug report https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36602 does not seem to have any new patches sinse August... http://people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/htile/

              Is there any chance for that to change in the near future?
