I was playing Angry Birds WebGL version on Chrome on my Kubuntu machine. I also play Angry Birds windows through wine. Suddenly I thought how much slower this webgl version is then Wine. To me, next generation software and games are web based. WebGL is future of Linux Gaming as I am seeing(I know I don't know everything but as to me).
Firefox and Chrome/Chromium both have now webgl support. It could be a interesting article if we can see some webgl benchmark across Different Nvidia,AMD(or Intel? Is it support webgl?) machines, drivers and browser. Who the hell on earth could do this kind of bench-marking better then Michael
So its my request to Michael for some article of WebGL bench-marking.
