    The link to the Git repo in the article is dead.

    edit: Freedesktop Gitweb seems to be down as other Git repos at Freedesktop also return 404.

      I wonder if this is related to two new competitors appearing (ironhide/bumblebee and virtual crtc).

        Competitors?

        Bumblebee/Ironhide are slow, incomplete software-level solutions. Virtual CRTC is a clever hardware-level solution but not everyone is happy with how it would work.

        PRIME is endgame. It will work exactly how it needs to.
