Hi!
I haven't found any dedicated "meet and greet" topic/forum subsection so here it goes. To be honest the thing that pushed me towards phoronix was the great job Michael Larabel does in the field of the infamous power regressionS in the recent linux kernels. I've never seen or heard of such a piece poor job in open source community ever! The only case that comes to mind is some FOSS project where a silly bug caused deletion of user folder but still IMO kernel devs "win" here hands down! Knowing how long will it take since the doscovery of the first regressions, through new regressions added (oh yeah!) until the fix in kernel 3.3 or later it truly makes me sick. With that background Phoronix looks like a magnificent addition to the good side of the Linux community. Keep it up!
