Nvc1 and nvd9 aren't supported by Nouveau. You didn't have hw acceleration, that's why you had terrible performance.

Is there a Nouveau equivalent to http://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonProgram ? If not is 3D still not far enough along yet to bother?

I guess the appropriate way to write it is FuC where u stands for Greek letter μ (international symbol for micro)
So, for abbreviating Fermi Micro Code either you write FμC or FuC.

I know FUC and "FUC'ed" sound more hilarious, but it's misleading.
