    any time table for getting suspend to work? I have to rmmod fglrx every time I want to suspend, which becomes a big hassle stopping X every time.

    If you're using s2ram, try:
    # s2ram --force --vbe_save

      If you're using 2.6.23 or 2.6.22 w/ SLUB (or any kernel with SLUB), it won't work. This means Ubuntu Gutsy. No fix so far. When an AMD drive comes out with 2.6.23 support, suspend will be fixed. Until then, one must compile their own kernel without SLUB (with SLAB, in fact).
