Going to "phoronix.com" redirects the browser to "www.phoronix.com". Clicking the "Forums" link brings you to "www.phoronix.com/forums". However, clicking something on the forums (sections, threads, new posts, etc) will strip the "www." and leave only "phoronix.com/forums/..."
This should be more consistent because customized settings in the browser (Firefox here) like text size will jump back and forth between "www.phoronix.com" and "phoronix.com".
