  • 8.42.3 which modules in xorg.conf?

    Running Ubuntu 7.10 with the ATI 8.42.3 driver installed.

    There is a section in my xorg.conf files labeled "modules." It was empty, I've added a few things gleaned from various posts here, but can anyone point me to a resource that can tell me what is _supposed_ to be in this section?

    This is how my working xorg.conf looks... I'm running gutsy/x86 with an X800 XT PE. Keep in mind I have a wacom tablet so the input stuff won't apply to you;
    Code:
    # /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
    # values from the debconf database.
    #
    # Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf(5) manual page.
    # (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
    #
    # This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
    # if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
    # package.
    #
    # If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
    # again, run the following command:
    #   sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
