Hi All,
I wanted to know the recommended settings for the /proc/mtrr when I am running the ATI proprietary drivers.
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon HD 4550
OpenGL version string: 3.3.10750 Compatibility Profile Context
on my Ubuntu 10.10
The kernel documentation (http://lxr.linux.no/#linux+v3.0/Docu...n/x86/mtrr.txt) explains the advantage of using write combining & getting a better performance.
So, I wanted to know whether I should change it myself or the present configuration is better than any changed configuration.
