    Those certainly are valid points, my point was simply that if it's going to be FAIB anyway why not also make it FAIF? You'll notice my abstract there I'm highlighting more that it's not accepting help from the other hands until a certain point. My personal apprehension on such things is that so many projects like this come so close to completion as a mod or otherwise, but it dies before it's able to be released and so the work is lost to the world because it's proprietary.

    Good counter-point

    No denying that you can't predict what will happen tomorrow; as far as preserving the code, it's definitely a big plus to have it available publicly somewhere.
