    On gentoo amd64, I tried the ebuild from the aluco overlay and official tarball.

    Are you on a proxy (that's not been configured in PTS) or other awkward Internet setup? It can't obtain the information it needs to from OpenBenchmarking.org...

            I think it might have a stupid php.ini setting about fopen... Look in your /etc/php/php.ini for it or Google like Gentoo PTS php.ini. I think it was fopen default setting was the issue.

              What a stupid default, I did solve changing allow_url_fopen to On in /etc/php/cli-php5.3/php.ini

                Also, pts asks for virtual/glut but gentoo does not have such ebuild.
