I can guarantee you that you can not play games in it with a minimal performance drop (and that will not happen soon either).
You are not right. I have played games inside a XEN vm at the same speed as with windows. 3D-Mark Ventage shows only 6000 instead of 6100 points. The loss is on CPU side.
