Serious graphical regression with ati in Ubuntu 11.04

I experienced many slowing after the upgrade to 11.04, so I installed by zero..

Nothing change, before 10.04, older driver (i dont know which one), ut2004 was completely fluid also at max res with max details (i5 750, 5850, 4gb)

But now It is not even fluid at lowest details, 800x600

11.5 drivers

OpenGL active/disactive, vert refr active/deactive, nothing changes (or slightly)

Ideas?

xorg-edgers ppa may have newer packages that perform better
