Hi, okey, I know glxgears cant be used as an benchmark, but the output i got when i had ubuntu a while ago kinda scared me, 7800 fps :S while on my modded x850xtpe did i get 14500-15000 fps, 8800 gts hits about 30k.
havnt tried many games, tried starcraft in cedega, ran abit better than with the x850 xt pe, but not great enough to make me move away from windows for good.
Thats like the game thats holding me back.
but.. else than that, driver was quite easy to install, no major issues, i just had to fix the xorg manually, cause it did not remove old driver settings so it dubled, aswell as having crazy frequency for my monitor.
i got my 512 mb, gonna give it away to my lil bro and buy me the 1gb =)
is there any way to manage fan speeds(gpu) in linux aswell as gpu clock
And sorry for posting it in wrong section.
