    That number included the Mono runtime. Jupiter does a lot of things that laptop-mode-tools doesn't do like tune many kernel parameters and shift devices into a power friendly state when you unplug.

    You can actually turn the Jupiter applet off, all of the hooks are outside of the applet. The applet just lets you make quick configuration changes.
