Fedora 8 Test 1 is released. You can get it at http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/ or with any mirror you like.
I tested the Fedora 8 Test 1 KDE LiveCD and was already impressed. There are some cosmetic improvements here and there (icons + panel), you don't have to log on with the LiveCD now and the desktop is as polished as with Fedora 7. There will be a lot of work before Fedora 8 is finished but Fedora is getting one of my favourite distributions, let's say the best after Sidux for me. That could change if non-free would supported directly in their repos, I hate it when there are several 3rd party repos, if there would be one, but... I don't like it
I downloaded it off from a german mirror and seeded the torrent since then. Cool to see you're the only one together with the uploader seeding a public torrent
