  • Avivo Fedora 7 Prob

    Hey all,
As soon as i heard the open-source avivo driver had shadowFB support; i thought i would give it another go. However this time when i compiled it all and ran X. I received Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. Server aborting. Here is my Xorg.0.log file: -

I haven't had any problems with previous avivo releases (apart from my first compile attempt :P). If someone could suggest where i've gone wrong; i would greatly appreciate it.

Damm you seem to have broken rom could you run avivotool romtables mmap and send the output either to xorg-devel or to me (glisse At freedesktop DOT org). avivotool come with the avivo driver in avivotool subdirectory.

            Hi all,
I have bad news i got the new avivo git did the usual to compile it replace my xorg.conf with the avivo driver restarted my X Windows and all i could see some white. At least it doesn't drop back to shell and come up with the error i was recieving before (Caught signal 11. Server aborting). Any ideas from the crew from freedesktop or anyone else would be great...

            Thanks,
