Strange Ati Catalyst Control Panel Problem

    Strange Ati Catalyst Control Panel Problem

    hi i have a strange problem with the Ati Catalyst Control Panel, under OpenGl version it displays "1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.2.1)" instead of Ati OpenGl library



    when i run fgl_glxgears it shows a rotating cube with no spinning gears and only if i run fgl_glxgears -fbo it shows a normal rotating cube with spinning gears

    Is this a (maybe minor) bug ? Any idea on how can i solve this problem ? I suspect a Mesa GL interference but i don't know how to fix it; i'm running Kubuntu 7.04 feisty with latest ati drivers manually installed; thanks in advance

    I can't even get my Catalyst control center to open up . Anyone know of a way to remove it and re-add it?
