A Jon Jahren test?
There is a Microsoftie over at Slashdot: http://linux.slashdot.org/comments.p...0&cid=35387730. He writes "Just say 'Phoronix' in TFS [The f***ing Subject?] So that I don't actually have to visit the site to find out it's useless"
That made me think, what if he could manage people to submit sublimely irrelevant data. How do would one check for that? A vm would be hard to identify I guess, but give sustainably lower performance. Perhaps a statistical analysis of some parameter in the long run could identify an issue, but... Any thoughts?
