The normal download page lists it correctly:

The release notes are wrong. But given the past phails with links on the Linux section, it's not surprising. It seems the AMD dudes working on the Linux section have pretty much no idea what they're actually doing

        haha,

        now that's ridiculous

a little bit more of effort, please gentlemen !

now in "Release Notes" (Catalyst_11.2_Linux_Installer.pdf) there's not even the changes or known problems listed

only step-by-step guide and pics how to create distro-packages

shall users find out on their own - SURPRISE !

        new features !

        or what ?

One new feature seems to be scrapping lots of folders only leaving x680(_64a) and adding a new folder xpic(_x64a).
At least it's not working anymore with the previous ebuild and just changing the version postfix.

At least seems to work for me:

            Kubuntu 10.10 x86_64 with KDE 4.6 PPA
            ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400

              Working fine here as well.
But apart from the tear free desktop not working correctly, I got no issues with 11.1 also.
Anyone tried the tear free desktop option on 11.1/11.2 with a multi-display setup, with one screen rotated?
Didn't work for me on the rotated screen. The buffer was aligned incorrectly, so effectively unusable in this configuration.

Is there ANY chance this one supports 2.6.38rc(x) kernel?

just look at the usual places:

                  AUR(en) - catalyst

                  (arch linux)

Why have ATgay stopped producing release notes?

The release note link on the download page points to a installer guide...
