I find the reference to AIGLX in the Phoronix review confusing
"...fglrx drivers will support AIGLX".
Isn't AIGLX a Mesa/Xorg/DRI feature and compositing can be done without AIGLX (eg. Nvidia)?
My understanding of compositing is that
compositing = Nvidia libGL.so + GLX_texture_from_pixmap OR
Xorg server with AIGLX/DRI/Mesa
Where does the fglrx architecture fit into this equation.
