    Both wine and some native games use an ancient X.org extension for modesetting. That extension is so old, it has no clue about multiple monitors whatsoever.

    The real fix would be to get wine or the games ported to XrandR. The ugly workaround would be to run games in windowed mode. The quick workaround would be to write a small bash script for your app, like
    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    wine 'C:\my\game.exe'
    xrandr --restore-my-freaking-settings
