    There's already been a lot of news this week regarding KDE with their developers thinking about merging the KDE libraries into Qt, performance optimizations for KWin in KDE 4.6, and more performance improvements with the experimental Qt Scene Graph. This morning there's more news coming out with the monthly bug-fixing update to the KDE Software Compilation...

      I'm still mad at them for screwing up my desktop effects with R600.
      I've tried reenabling them for about 5 seconds after each iteration...

      The good news is this kind of thing no longer seems to hard lock my machine.

      Here's hoping R600g will rescue me by and by
