    Interesting, *office fragmentation. I certainly hope it will be a win - win situtation for the open office alternatives although i doubt it.

    At worst this will make Oracle Stand up and develop OpenOffice...

      Ultimately, I don't really care which particular office suite wins as long as proprietary file formats lose.

        Very well said. As long as the file formats are compatible, each user can simply use the application they prefer and everybody's happy. I think that ends this discussion. Also I lol'd @ streets ahead reference
