  • HD5770 flex not supported by fglrx?

    Hi all,

I recently bought the Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 flex edition. This card has an additional pixel clock on board so it can support 3 Displays without using DisplayPort. On Windows all works fine, including eyefinity (Surroundgaming really rocks!) But I can not get the Card working with fglrx even with only one dvi or vga Display connected.

The opensource radeon driver supports the card, however only one connected output. As soon as I start gdm with fglrx enabled the screen goes blank for a second and than turns off.

Using ubuntu 10.10 with fglrx from repository.

    Any clues?
