  • Fermi powermizer limits?

I'm planning on buying NVIDIA GTX 460, but I'm a bit curious about NVIDIA's powermizer (downclock/overclock). Is there any limits on this software, is it possible to downclock/underclock as low as you want?

ATI Overdrive for instance doesn't let my go far at all, just about 10 MHz difference or so. And ATI Overclock Utility (not official) lets me go to 390/475 - athough I'd like memory to idle around 200-250 MHz.

So, could anyone just make a quick check and see how far you're able to set NVIDIA powermizer?

My GTX 460 sits at 50/135MHz (Core/Mem) at the lowest PowerMizer level.

That's impressive, thank you. GTX 460 seems perfect at the moment.
Which 460 are you using by the way?

I have the 1GB MSI card. One thing that I have noticed is that it goes to the highest frequencies when using VDPAU, but other than that, I have been quite happy with it.

I believe you should somehow be able to force it to stay at one frequency? Oh well.
