Hi,
Since catalyst 10.7 I have problems with power management. It is not relate to kernel revision or xorg. On 10.6 all was ok. With 10.7 and higher I have problems like :
logs from Xorg.0.log
[ 16479.650] (EE) fglrx(0): PPLIB: PP_Initialize() failed.
[ 16479.650] (II) fglrx(0): Finished Initialize PPLIB!
I cant take information about gpu and temperature:
aticonfig --pplib-cmd "get activity"
PPLIB command execution has failed!
ati_pplib_cmd: execute "get" failed!
my system:
- arch linux x686.
- catalyst 10. ( 7 - 9 ) and 10 beta.
