    Port Windows-based games to the Linux platform.

    err.... i don't know why but this was somewhere in the forum... i can't remember why! oh yeah, that's it! It's in one of those valve topic's.

      That job listing has been on there for over 5 years and as it's been pointed out many times before that listing is more akin for server side of things.

              Linux is only mentioned in "Responsibilities", nothing is said of it in the requirements. So that element of it isn't important enough for them to list GNU/Linux experience as necessary.

              Take that however you wish.
