VNC black screen - opensuse 11.3

I run opensuse 11.3 in GNOME environment. When I connect to this server over VNC I get black screen with "X" mouse pointer. I googled and realized that it's a bug. According on the following link it was fixed with a patch. However, I can't figure out how to apply this patch.
