    @AC,
    Tried to simply enable the plugin in the Konqueror settings? I'm using Rekonq BTW. It doesn't realy work in Konqueror. And Konqueror without Webkit sucks anyway :')

      Hm, it works for me only for embedded YouTube videos, but it's buggy as hell. Not working on YouTube, says "An error occurred...". Well, I guess I hoped to soon.

        Well... you can always use this greasemonkey's (firefox addon) script to play youtube video, although it's kinda laggy in fullscreen, at least for me.

          Thanks, but I use either Opera or something KHTML based.

          I find that lightspark (compiled from git) is better than Gnash, but video controls on YouTube are screwed. Well, still waiting for the savior...

            You need to remove Youtube's cookies. Check this post for more http://gnashdev.org/?q=node/77

              Epic! Thanks!

              And another piece of closed source gets eliminated from the Linux desktop!

                Thanks. I was having this issue in Chromium, but not in Firefox.

                  Thanks, blindfrog, now working in Opera, too.

                  But for me, gnash is still a no-go in a terms of processor power. And I wont buy a new quad core processor just to be able to play YouTube videos. Lightspark does a great job here, my good ol' Prescott 2.4 GHz handles very well flash videos and sites (performance is a lot better than with the Adobe's plugin). Since I was waiting long time for flash OS alternative, well, what a heck, I'll wait a bit more until Lightspark polishes out.

                    I use webm in opera/chrome. I just noticed the webm filter on youtube. Honestly, I could care less about gnash/lightspark. webm works fantastically.

                      I used to use it, too, but still, for some videos you have to have flash enabled browser. Plus, webm technology isn't yet mature enough for everyday use, for I had some problems and glitches, minor, but big enough to fall back to flash, after all.
