  • Website doesn't fit netbooks anymore

The website's page width recently went above 1024 pixels, which makes reading rather annoying on any monitor that's below 1152 pixels in width.

    Try Ctrl-"-"

I shouldn't have to zoom out. I can't think of a good reason for enlarging the website when it was just fine before.

      You try Ctrl-"+".

I'm on 1024x768 and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh the FP... yeah it is a smidge wide.

          ^- works though

I have to scroll horizontaly in order to read the news items, it's silly. Michael, what's up with that?

The site width increased a couple pixels in order to accommodate a changed ad on the right panel.

Well I can't see the ad in full without scrolling either. Can't you adjust the width of the center column, or something? Do your web stats suggest screen resolutions of 1024x768 and smaller are too small a minority?

Just use Opera and enable "fit to width". Problem solved!

There's a Chrome extension with the same name but it isn't nearly as refined. No idea about Firefox.
