    The problem with r200 + r700 is that there is no Gallium on the former, which means being stuck on classic Mesa for the foreseeable future.

    Luckily, I actually managed to find a PCI-based HD 4350, and I'll look into that first.

      The Xephyr multiseat solution supports 2D, 3D and Xv acceleration. It does however not support the composite extension.

      For a second card, better see if you have a PCIe x1 slot. Club3D has a Radeon 4350 for PCIe x1. Alternatively, there exist some dual-GPU cards like the Radeon 4850 X2 where both GPUs drive monitors.

        I got a PCI Club3D HD 4350, and now everything is working after a rather trivial setup. Some kinks to sort out, but this is the coolest thing I've done on a computer in a long time.

        Big thanks to all the developers for making this happen!
