xf86-video-ati-git: problem with git bisetct

Hi,

I'm using Arch Linux x86_64. I want to do some git bisetcing. To be exact from 2-27-2009 to 17-05-2009. As far as I know old ati code won't compile against new xorg-sever so I did a downgrade to 1.6.3 but source code still won't compile.

What version of xorg-server should I install?

It should compile fine against just about any xserver since 1.3. What sort of errors are you seeing?
