  • Will we ever see OpenSolaris 10.x?

Well, originally it was OpenSolaris 10.2, then 10.3, then 10.4, now it is looking to be 10.5 at least. When will it finally be here?

My understanding (at least from briefly reading their forum) is that a showstopper bug or two appeared and they needed to delay a bit more. It may be fixed now as some have reported that build 134a is being branched (134a is the build that will become the next release, hopefully soon.)

I have heard about those bugs too, but I first started hearing of it in February. Now it is May, and that is quite a bit of time.

and of the 2 remaining blocker bugs, one is a blocker bug with no outstanding bugs in it, and the other is to update the Gnome Documentation.

Thanks for the Information, I really thought that they'd stalled/given up on it
