Multi display with AMD/ATi

Hi all,

after I asked for some opinions here http://phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23003, I'd like to know if with AMD/ATi is possible to have the following multi monitor working:
1920x1200+1600x1050
With current nVidia Twinview it works a treat; would be the same with AMD/ATi evergreen chips?

sure, you just need to change your configuration to use XRandR instead of the nvidia-only TwinView-stuff.

I'm using 1920x1200+1600x1200 and can dynamically switch to 1920x1200+1280x720 (projector) and back without trouble.
