  • Would this video card work on Linux?

I have been using following video card for a while on windows.
I am thinking of going to Linux (either redhat or Unbuntu) and
I wonder if this card is going to work with linux.
Could any one tell me if this is going to work?
    Thank you

    Foxconn FV-N795M4D2-OD GeForce 7950GX2 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card

It was supported way back in 2006, so it probably still is now:

That's the official nVidia linux forum.

Whatever distro you pick, search their forum or ask about the easiest way to install nVidia's drivers. None of the distros come with that because of licensing terms.

BTW: Most popular distros have a way to download and install nVidia's driver in just a few clicks, so don't worry about it.

If you click on the "Supported Products" tab here, you'll see your card on the list:
Download the English (US) Linux Display Driver Version 195.36.15 for Linux 64-bit systems. Released 2010.3.19
