7.1 LPCM on RV710 KMS?

ALSA can reportedly handle full-blown 192 KHz 7.1 LPCM over HDMI. The Radeon HD 4350 can reportedly do the same. But I can't use anything over two channels when using xf86-video-radeonhd's HDMI audio support.

Is there anyway that KMS will support this?

I'm bumping this thread because I keep reading that this card (4350) is supposed to support 7.1 output.

EDIT: I'm on 2.6.34 KMS now.
