  • LGP is dead?

Nothing in the news section in both LGP and Tuxgames since Q3/09. Even the LGP blog (Usually rather active) has been silent since January.

    What gives?

Okay so i have been following LGP (http://www.linuxgamepublishing.com/) for quite some time now and recently their blogs and news have just stopped. Am i the only one who is wandering if they have simply given up? Be a pitty if they did, their recent ports have been brill.

"As MaximB has written, LGP is far from dead. We have several ports already underway and we are in talks about several more. I realize our blog has been a bit quiet lately, but that has been at least partially caused by us being busy . I'll try to get something up there soon.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, PM me, join our IRC channel (#lgp on irc.freenode.net) or e-mail me directly: eskild at linuxgamepublishing dot com, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Cheers,

      Thanks for the update!

I'm still holding out on buying X3:TC/Windows and running it under Wine, hoping that LGP will follow up on their excellent X3 port.

Heh, not a good sign having your customers starting to wonder if you're going out of business...

Yes indeed. It'll be a sad day if LGP goes under.

            There's a new X3 game? Cool !
Think I'll hold out for an LGP port too though.

That's what I've been waiting for, if the X3:r port is anything to go by!

Having to think about upgrading due to the fact that my game has got rather shall we say busy(XTM installed also) To the point I've had to stop until upgrade.

                Athlon 64 Processor 3700+ , 7800GTX 256mb
First week of the 78xx release I built this so not done to bad!

                Pete.

PS Never thought I'd need nor say "upgrade" to game on *nix

I know what you mean, I'm upgrading the GPU on my dev Xeon workstation (that doubles as my gaming machine), so it'll be able to keep up with major battles (XTM installed) once your empire goes into overdrive. (6 HQ, 10 complexes, ~150 ships).

Try a script called Death Match Arena / Redux. Nothing beats going one on one against a fleet of M1's and M2's surrounded by assortment of M7, M6 and M3 ships.

Hi-light a ticket and you get a blank page
