Hi,
I have bought a Xonar D1 card as an upgrade from my Realtek ALC888 on-board audio, and have successfully attached the case's front panel to the Xonar's connector. However, I have discovered that the Xonar streams either to the front panel or to the back panel, controlled via an ALSA mixer setting! I wasn't expecting this. Is this a "feature" of the current ALSA drivers (Linux kernel 2.6.33), or a genuine limitation of the hardware, please?
Thanks,
Chris
