Recently, some notebooks with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5165 have popped up. Turns out that these are only rebranded and slightly lower clocked Mobility Radeon HD 4670, and the name was chosen to deceive stupid consumers.
Unquestionably this was done due to OEM pressure. And rebranding is very common, especially when you don't have anything new. (Hello NVidia!) But one could have hoped that AMD is now in a market position where it is not necessary to bow so low.
