Phoronix: Linux 2.6.33-rc6 Kernel For The Weekend

Linus has put out the Linux 2.6.33-rc6 kernel release. This release candidate for the Linux 2.6.33 kernel is on time arriving precisely one week after the Linux 2.6.33-rc5 release. Half the changes in the sixth release candidate are for architecture related changes (an x86 debug change being the biggest) and just shy of half are Linux driver updates...

The 2.6.33 may be the most important driver in years. With open source accelerated 3D for even the most recent cards in the hands of Linus Torvalds, what can possibly go wrong now? A patent attack, possibly is the most lethal threat today.

With any .33-rcX I have a kernel panic. I am stuck with .31-17.
