Interesting... I'd love to try it and find out if my 5750 is supported, but more than a little concerned about whether it contains any malware or not.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the official release instead

Malware from ati-forum.de? Unlikely. And from the way they word it, it looks like they even have permission to distribute this.

        Edit:
Works fine on Gentoo AMD64 using the 9.10 ebuild. There's no "beta version" overlay image or such. Version screen for future reference:

The 2D Driver version and catalyst cc version are the same as from the stream beta driver.

Although the OpenGL version is 2.1.9115

Well, the site claims this is the final version so I guess this is the same that will be released officially shortly (according to the site, it's already overdue; should have been released on 11 Nov. That is today (or yesterday, according to what time zone you're in.)

(It's not there yet, link will work when it's officially released; or maybe not, since AMD employees sometimes forget to actually upload the driver after the release )

I wonder if it solves the black screen issue which I have on RHD 3870 and Ubuntu since 9.9??

                  Does this version support opencl?
I just bought a new AMD gfxcard to be able to use opencl.

Keep on dreaming we will wake you up when they will do it

ok to be fair, you should look for the amd stream sdk.
