I've noticed a few odd graphics things lately on my eeePC (i915, KMS, 2.6.31).
When it boots, I'm now getting a kernel error saying "EIR stuck" (and some other things) but it continues with the boot.
The really bizarre thing is that when I've got something like xfce or KDE's power manager running and tell it to turn off the screen after a few minutes, it doesn't turn off. Instead, the screen freezes until I press a key to wake it up. Not only that, the entire machine apparently freezes with it because when it comes back to life the load average is insanely high (double digits) and the wifi has to reconnect.
