I don't understand why on a fresh copy of kubuntu 64bit 9.04 the sqlite does not run. I never had an issue with phoronix with the standard ubuntu 9.04 install. Is there an issue with the kubuntu install, or can I do something to resolve this issue?

Hmmm, odd. Are you able to try running it with PTS 2.0.0b3?

Negative. I just tried that last night.

The 64bit OSs never have worked for me for the SQLite tests. Without the GlibC32 bit installed, most of the 32 bit tests fail. SQLite fails even with GlibC.i586 installed correctly. Super-pi for example will fail to run without the 32bit Glibc libraries.

If someone knows of a potential workaround using a 64bit OS I'm game to try it on F11x64 and on Archlinux 64.

Thank you for your informative reply. At least I now know it is not an even specific to my machine.

              Good NEWS!

I installed the glibc-2.10.1-2.i686.rpm for Fedora this morning. Now the SQLite tests for Phoronix are working properly on this x64 system.

I am not certain this will work with every distro. I suspect it might.

I had to dig through the everything folder, of the Fedora distro to find the rpm.

You installed a SRC rpm? Are you sure?

                  libglib2.0-dev (2.20.1-0ubuntu2)
                  pkg-config (0.22-1)

After installing the above packages my sqlite test now works perfectly. I knew something was missing. Dude, thanks A LOT!

Glad to hear that worked for you!

I see some of your benchmarks today. Congratulations!
