  • RADEONHD(0): Output DVI-D_1 disconnected

    Dear forum,
I can't figure out why I am getting no video on my laptop DVI connector when using the RadeonHD driver. With Radeon (or ATI) driver the video displays on my TV without any problems.

The video chipset on my laptop is ATI Radeon Mobility 1450. I have GIT the latest RadeonHD drivers. Xorg is 1.6 running on Jaunty Mythbuntu 9.04.

On the DVI connector I have a Panasonic Plasma TV. Could someone please shed light on possible cause and solution to this problem? Have anyone else experienced problems getting video on DVI using the RadeonHD drivers?

    grep DVI /var/log/Xorg.0.log

I've mean output when you're using radeonhd, not radeon.

            Any updates?

            Hi there,
Would anyone on the forum have any update about why when using RadeonHD drivers the TV on DMI is not detected, and while using Radeon (ATI) drivers the TV is detected?

            Thanks,

            Ale99

ale99: radeonhd simple doesn't have support for TV.

About this bug (DVI-D_1 disocnnected) I really don't know what happens :/
